Magnus Ernström

Magnus Ernström was given the opportunity to serve as a UN soldier in the Bosnian war at the age of 24 in 1993. This was the prelude to Magnus' story, told in his debut novel "A half year, an entire life". He considers his participation in the UN battalion a privilege and a unique event - he got a taste of Sweden's largest military operation abroad. He realized that there was a story to tell. Magnus never dreamed of becoming a writer; this story made him write.
